QA of Research
The Research Quality Assurance (QA) system monitors departmental research activities and their reporting by following the objectives set out in the University strategic plan, declining specific objectives and targets for the Department within the "Research" section of the Three-Year Plan.
In particular, it collects the data and enters them in the annual review form in order to
- Strengthen the ex-post evaluation system of University funding
- Check the number of funding applications and success rates
- Promote good self-assessment practices through the use of bibliometric and self-promotion indicators by encouraging open access publication along the guidelines of the Commission for Open Science and the University's Open Access policies.
